Hey guys I need some advice. Had an incident last week where the condom slipped off inside the provider, in the middle of the act. We caught it quickly as we were changing positions. Probably slipped off while I was coming out. (She was able to easily pull it out).

Anyhow, few days later and I’m having uti type symptoms. Question is where to go get tested and be able to get a prescription if needed. I need to pay cash. Don’t want to use insurance, or too much personal info.

Any suggestions for LIC, greenpoint, sunnyside? Trying to stay away from labs as those will not give you a prescription if one is needed.

Help...

Bite the bullet, use your insurance and go to a real MD or an urgent care. It’ll be cheaper and you’ll get better care. Don’t worry about what they’re thinking, I work in a hospital, they’ve seen it all and your predicament won’t raise an eyelash.

Thanks, but the problem is not what the doctor will think about me. It’s the unexpected insurance billing and copayment invoices that will show up in my mail box, This prompting questions from so.

Tell them paperless. And or give em another address to send it to. I had a seperate bank account years ago when I lived with my ex and just in case had that account get mailed to my parents house.

Anyhow, I figured something out. It’s not a UTI. Got some medicine for the suspect STDs. Will need to do HIV test in 3 weeks. No sex until then.

Will post full story then.

In the meantime here is a psa. The lady was from 72nd st and Roosevelt. Can someone who has their contact tell them all via wechat to get tested? I’d go tell them myself but don’t want to get into any altercations.

chances of contracting hiv through vaginal sex with a condom on (albeit it slipped... exposure had a small window) are very low. nothing beats a result from the doctor but just to calm your nerves, i will say that much. i was in the same exact situation before and i was a wreck until i got my results. The girl practically needs to have sourpuss warts exploding inside of her for you to contract hiv. but glad you are being responsible regardless.

yeah I looked at that. Don’t have a good excuse to be in those areas.
I dont know what you mean by that. It's free, you don't even need to explain why you need the test. You just go in, fill out a form, wait to see a person who does the intake. Then actually see the physician who takes your pee and pricks your finger. After that, you get an identification to check your results online after. Whole thing (pre COVID) took an hour tops.

I would like to add that I know one of your concerns was letters to home and stuff. They don't send you anything and you don't even need to put your address. You can even opt out of them contacting you all together. It is super discrete. The only thing you need to remember is your identification number for the website.

You’re single? Probably. Let’s say you’re married. Being far from places where you’re supposed to be is very risky. Explain parking ticket/red light ticket/car accident/running into your So’s bbf in a completely different part of town when you are normally should be in your office...
