About once a year I get a head cold and make myself stay away from any fun until I’m 100% recovered. I kinda think I’m making sure I don’t pass the cold along to someone that then passes it on to other guys. I don’t know if anyone else thinks this way.

I haven’t had my cold yet this year but right after my last spa visit I got a cut on my big toe right next to the nail, it’s in a spot that does not want to heal. It’s been weeks and every few days it opens up again and bleeds a little, nothing is infected, I keep it super clean, but it is basically an open wound. Liquid bandage does not help and I seriously doubt it could be stitched by a dr (I can’t even see the cut really, it right in that nail / skin line).
My current plan is to avoid going to amps until this is 100% healed. Along with avoiding anything that might be in the water getting on my wound I wouldn’t want the normal toe twisting most ladies do, I’m sure that would be excruciating pain.

Am I being paranoid?
Should I just put a condom on my toe and let her know not to touch it?
It is getting better but at this rate I’m thinking another 3 weeks until it’s healed, I’m already way overdue on my next visit somewhere.

Not diabetic.
Bandaid would cover the spot but any contact with the area will cause the cut to open up again.
This cut is right in the nail / skin line and just walking causes it to open up sometimes.

U need to have it looked at by a physician if it's not healing on its own even if it's in a difficult spot. They have stuff that's beater than otc remedies.

Clean the wound, then pour alcohol on it, then duct tape with neosporin smeared all over it. Check every 5 to 7 days. If it looks funky, drink a handle of any alcohol. Cut the toe off, put in in a ziploc bag of ice, sear missing toe wound shut with a butane torch, go to a shop, and then go to the emergency room. Problem fixed!

I’d advise you to check your blood work: if to exclude serious illness then most common cause of badly healing wounds is an iron deficit in your body.

Injury update, since everyone seems so concerned.

I decided to actually “rest” it and stayed off the treadmill and bike for 5 days, just did weights and the Concept 2 at the gym. That did the trick, the cut now stays shut when I move a lot, the skin is still irritated (probably mostly from the peroxide I used to clean the area every few hours) but that should change soon too.
