Rubmaps can be useful in certain areas, but mostly for address location etc, the reviews aren't reliable for the most part, I've read new reviews posted where the parlor had long since been closed and out of business.

This site has professional moderators as opposed to RM.

Reviews: This site is more reliable.
Discussions: Moderators could close thread on this site when necessary.
Inquiries: Moderators respond when they can.

RM: Most reviews are not reliable. Many discussion threads are derailed. Their moderators rarely respond to inquiries.

For sure. The mods on SH were so heavy-handed and out of control. Much more discussion is allowed here, thankfully.

I use it to find spas and give me an indication of the provider names. That is it. Never opened and review and never will.

They got scared because of Feds recent actions. They want to remove their data. Unfortunately being banned doesn't remove data. There is no way as far as I know. Maybe admin or mods know more.

There is a fee for private details if no reviews are posted. I guess to offset costs of maintaining the site. Perhaps a fee for total deletion of a members posting activity? I'm not computer savvy so no idea of the logistics of doing that. Of course the member would have to take the moderators word on that cause there would be know way to log in to substantiate it. Lol.

He could just start another profile to check. And with no activity, just abandon it. However, he can only check the active database. A true data scrub should also include the system backups (best for this hobby if there isn’t any). And no system administrator would take the time out to edit backups.
