If you dont bring an ID, they will hold you until they know who you are. They will assume your a wanted man with warrants.
Only if they have probable cause that you committed a crime, committed a crime, or in the process of committing a crime. We're not Nazi Germany where you need to carry papers. We have this thing called the 4th Amendment.

It's a prostitution bust. If they can't ID you, at the very least they have to assume your in the building operating as a pimp or a human trafficker.. To them, It's like a murder scene. Nobody walks away until they have all the facts. FBI? Good luck.

He guys I never said I wouldn't provide my identity, all I said was I don't bring my ID into the spa with me. They'd get my name and social if they wanted it but other than that I wouldn't offer any additional info.

yes, if you're inside during raid they can legally ID you. However if it's a situation where they're trying to harass you before or after a session, then no, you don't have to ID. I misunderstood the conversation. My Bad.

They're not interested in the customers, just shutting down the spas. Stop being paranoid. I've been to plenty of spa that have eventually been shut down, I've never received any type of follow up from LE.
that’s not true unfortunately. Check out Amystica spa bust- at least 6 customers were charged in that one

As someone who interacts with various types of law enforcement for work, in any situation LE writes detailed IR reports for any 911 calls or official police activity. Getting someones ID and license plate is standard practice for even the most minor situations, even with zero suspicion of wrong doing. If you've been asked for ID, congrats it's probably in a data log somewhere but it doesn't mean you're going to be prosecuted.
