4.95 a month unlimited text and calls, download burner APP ... it is connected to you existing number but untraceable other than to LE.. As long as you didnt kill someone,commit a felony, have an arrest warrant or your photo isn't hanging in a post office it is good to go... It is VOIP and cannot be attached to your existing number by any methods other than a deep LE search. It is the best way to go... you can dump the number anytime and it is gone. You can change the number in 60 seconds.
Not exactly - Burner has a stop gap - the voip from them feeds to their IP which is buried - only their IP can ping to you and you can’t go that - you need a warrant - if it was that simple and traceable they would be belly up- it’s the most popular app for a reason - your thinking is right however in this case untrue

That depends on how well they manage their data store. The fact they can ping your device just confirms the MAC is logged somewhere. A LEO warrant is all that takes to pull your call records and device registration. Once they have the MAC address, a quick device registration check with the carriers will turn up your phone. Not as deep of a search as you think.
I can tell you that if an LEO officer wants you... they can simply triangulate you based on your last call albeit a burner or not. The triangulation process will reinstate your GPS to the on position, whether you want it on or not... Once you have been triangulated, you are locked for as long as the phone is in position. If you are on the move and dump the phone, it will verify your known position. If there is a warrant and it is a felony or federal warrant , you are cooked, end of story. If that is what you are seeking in the form of a burner phone, you are shit out of luck. Now back to my statement, for 4.95 a month unlimited text and phone you cannot do better than Burner. You can also program to hide the app, so if you have a nosey wife, she will not see it and for as long as it is in the hide mode,she cannot see contacts, texts etc from that line, even if you associate your contact list it keeps it separate from your burner phone contacts. It is a great deal and gives you everything you want.
You're confusing the issue. Triangulation can only occur if they have your phone number or if the are doing an active trace on a call. If it was VoIP, they will only see the app's server, not your actual location. This just confirms my previous statements about how they would then find you,
Hiding the app wasn't why I first replied. It was to counter your claim that it required a "deep" search. You can't hide your burner's Caller ID, and that's enough for LEO to generate a warrant if your burner becomes a point of investigation.

Curious why a burner would be needed? To cut the trace back to your real identity makes sense.

From what I’ve seen on this board, the cops don’t even do anything to the mongers during the sting. And even on the news special investigations the mongers are just let go lol
