The street action was pretty lively when I was there in 2010. Pretty much every any size shape body type and orientation you can think of. It's a rich city bustling with thirsty punters on business. If you like African ladies it's one of the best cities in Europe
Antwerp has a better/cheaper scene due to the port, it's a fairly quick train journey.
If you read Flemish (Dutch), there's lots of ad and review boards.
You may also have good luck on the local equivalents Tinder/Bumble. Lots of civvies turn tricks to make ends meet.

I can't tell you about the hobby there but I've been to Belgium several times and have traveled all over country. Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, Brugge, Oostende and a few other places. Great country and really good food and drinks as well. People were really friendly too. And as Sschen commented above, Antwerp is a bout a 30 minute train ride from Brussels.
