Border/Boundary

So now that we have this forum, the question is where is the boundary be Philly Burbs and PA Other Areas?

For example, is Joanna's in Paoli inside or outside? I am assuming that East and West Norrington, Conshy, Plymouth Meeting are inside?

These minor points aside, I am really glad to see that this area now has its own space on here.

I’d say within about an hour from Philly, and in the range of where the Septa regional rail goes. Paoli is definitely part of the suburbs. Basically Chesco, Delco, Montco, and parts of Bucks Co.
These three counties would be the Philly Burbs... so so so so so many places, so little time! I just looked at my google maps pins... is like a sea of red dots from Pottstown to Conshy and from Hatfield to Exton! Get crackin!

First & Foremost: It's a wide fuzzy and porous boundary. Let's all agree to not be jerks about what's in/what's out.

I propose these rough boundaries around Philly (clockwise from DE State line):
- East of US202 between Delaware line and West Chester
- East of Rte 100 Between West Chester and Pottstown
- South of Pottstown, Green Lane, Lake Nockamixon and New Hope
- all boundaries include an exception that "If SEPTA goes there", shops outside the boundary are still considered in the Philly Burbs

One area that got left out of the new sections is Reading. Now have Suburbs, Allentown, Harrisburg, and Lancaster. No idea if there are enough providers near Reading, but where would those guys leave a review? Other Areas?

Reading is a desert anyway. They can go in PA. Too many separate areas is not good either.
Agree! Takes me a few extra seconds to scroll down all these new forums!

If no one contributes to a forum for say 90 days or something, I hope they start to delete them. Looking at Arizona taking up all this website real estate, and not a single post yet!

I don't have experience up near Bucks county but I would say Rt. 1 out to Glen Mills, Mainline out to Exton, and Germantown Ave out to Collegeville seem to be about the boundary I consider Philly Suburbs. I'm open to other ideas.

Completely bizarre that no mongering happens in the entire state of Arizona! Don't make me go out there and TOFTT the whole fscking state! Those old ladies and fresh Mexicanas won't know what hit them!

Are there any areas, outside of the 4 counties next to Philadelphia, (Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware, and Chester,) that should be included in Philly Suburbs? I don't think so, but I'm not familiar with the areas outside of Delaware and Chester Counties.

No. I think the other forums should cover it.

West of the ‘burbs goes to Lancaster/York or Harrisburg/Carlisle. North should go to Allentown or Scranton/Wilks-Barre. East is Philly (or Jersey), and South should go in the Delaware forums.

If nothing else fits, then I guess post in ‘PA Other Areas’, though at this point I’m in favor of getting rid of it. Just use the closest forum. In Delaware we get MD/VA/DC posts all the time bc there isn’t anything closer.

We still have places like State College and part of Western PA until we get close to Pittsburgh. That's why I said what's left is the "PA Desert".
