Drove by today and saw they were working on the place. Couldn’t resist taking a look. Contractor used to do repairs in there and he and my buddy recognized each other from a few back room conversations back in the day. So we got one last picture for all the mongers. The Indian grocery store next door is expanding into this space. Rooms and the infamous carpet are gone. Mamasan back in Flushing laying low.

Thanks for this, it sparks a lotta memories. It would be interesting to get a psychic to walk through the shell without any context and see what happens...

Kinda sad to see it all scoured to the walls like that. Many a happy day began for me in that space! I guess the tiles in the foreground are what's left of the TS room.
Each of the rooms was its own little separate den of propinquity.
Maybe we need to contact State govt. and have this place added to the collection of Delaware National Landmarks. With a little memorial plaque explaining how it attracted out-of-state visitors and enriched the local economy.
