Did some more research, According to the World Health Organization, 3.7 billion people under age 50 have herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) — that's 67 percent of the global population in that age bracket. Another 417 million people (11 percent) between ages 15 and 49 worldwide have herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2). Wow, didn't realize this. It seems you can only contract it when the other person is having an open outbreak of it. I do remember a few ladies (at various spas over the years) secretly hitting me with some rubbing alcohol in the shower room before starting a session. I guess they were looking for any open sores. I am sure I would of given a loud yip if I had a sore.
If you're in this hobby and have seen more than 20 or 25 providers I would guess you are statistically around 99% to have been with someone who has Herpes HSV-2.

I went to ddd almost 2 years ago in March. All I did was get a 30sec bj and some rimming. I thought it was a r&t joint but damn was I wrong lol. With a family and my worried ways, I bugged out and left within about 15 min of being there. Since then I’ve had pain around my ass, perineum, and sometimes all over the groin area. All tests negative, and doc told me it’s likely cpps (google it) from being overworked about it. I was convinced I got something from the rim, as I took plenty of piss tests and were negative. Still hurts til this day. Wifey has weird pain symptoms in stomach at times but who the f knows. I hope it truly is muscle related to being a spazz. I saw Sugar, and others posted here after me with no issues. Also, docs online say no stds are passed from rimming, but hsv1 could be a thing as I guess you have found out. Good news for you, hsv1 won’t breakout a bunch. You’ll probably forget about it soon enough!

I would disagree with the whole no STDs being passed by rimming. But even in addition to STDs there's a lot of stuff that can be passed mouth to rim.

Years ago, I caught some super strain of strep from DFK. It finally went away after 3 courses of antibiotics. That was a painful month. The strep was so bad I couldn't sleep. Even swallowing my own spit or drinking just water, it felt like I was swallowing fucking concrete bricks. Now, is strep as STD? No, but that's simply from kissing a provider who's probably kissed hundreds of mongers in 1 week.

On the flip side it could’ve been worse.. and herpes is so prevalent nowadays its like if you don’t have it by now somethings wrong with you lol it’s like catching the flu every year.. everyone’s bound to get it at some point.. just my .2
Believe me, I’ve asked infectious disease docs a few times and read the living shit out of “Ask the Experts” online. Those docs, who are pretty relevant on the std scene if you search them out, claim to have never seen or heard of transmission to the receiving partner of rimming in their career. Of course hsv could be if she was having an outbreak or shedding, but as far as other bacterial std’s, they infect the back of the throat, not the tongue. It’s more risky for the person licking the bunghole for parasites and poop filth. I hope they’re right.
