On the other hand, most of them save more and spend less than average Americans. They should have no problem living for 6 months or a year without any kind of income.
I agree for the most part. Many of the girls are probably flush with cash. Korean girls spend money like water but the Chinese ones save. They will be fine. Eventually though, they'll go back to work as a provider, simply because it pays too well (imagine going from making over a hundred an hour, tax free, to working minimum wage).

I do wonder if the AMP owners will close shop and then reopen somewhere else when they know business will be back. If their lease is running out in the next few months, it's not a bad business move. Why pay rent for an empty location? Some of these locations are quite big too. Rent must be high.

This board is gonna be important down the line when we have to figure out where the new AMPs are.

The landscape will change but not in the sense that some people are saying.

Some of the AMPs that exist now are going to go under. Months of no customers and they won't be able to pay their rent. You're going to see this everywhere though. Restaurants, bars, etc. are going to close for the same reason. However, when people are no longer scared of coronvirus (however long that takes), then new AMPs will open under new names.

It's simple supply and demand.

Demand - There are guys even now who want to continue seeing providers, right at the height of the panic. Down the line, when the medical community finds a vaccine or cure, people won't think about COVID at all. Think of it this way - hobbying is very high risk for STDs, some of which are permanent and some of which are terrifying (AIDS). Yet hobbyist continue to do this. They won't be thinking about a flu virus!

Supply - Being a provider is a very lucrative job for an uneducated girl. The popular ones likely make way more than most of their customers, especially when taxes are figured in. Also, all the girls that are currently working have no job experience or skills for a regular 9-5 job so there isn't much opportunity for them. They are waiting like the rest of us until they can go back to work. Same for the mamasans, owners, etc.

AMPs will be back, just like everything else, when COVID runs its course.
It’s just a matter of being patient.

“ Big brother is watching“

Really not much to watch right now and a lot more to be concerned about. All of our understaffed agencies are going to have way to much on their plates for a good long while in the wake of this.

Completely agree. It's a matter of those who contribute heavily to the upkeep of this industry waiting for all signs to be clear for an immediate return. This is prostitution and sex we're talking about.

Honestly, for many mongers, if it wasn't for the social guilt and reminders of the repercussions of risking your health during this time they'd be out there right now. For many others, they'd be back to normal scheduling if all the AMP's weren't closed. On a different yet parallel note, the girls are waiting for an official "go-ahead" from the government to start making their money again and risking their bodies, as per usual, for financial gain the old-fashioned way. I would be encouraged to say that if businesses like AMP's weren't ordered to close during this pandemic that a grand majority of the girls and mongers would be proceeding as usual with some women applying some "tougher" safety precautions and that's about it.

As far as a date for return of "normalcy", I would like to think that by late summer we will have some resemblance of the way things were with a cloud of apprehension over it all. At least I hope so. Hunting AMP's in the summer is a thrill.

-because they don't blow their hard earned money on...hookers LOLs
Oddly enough, I have heard that they sort of do, at least I have heard that some of the Korean girls frequent "piano bars" that cater to women, which completely blows my mind, since they of all people should understand the nature of the scam.

Of course a piano bar is not an AMP, but it's still paying good money for a fantasy.

Without a vaccine or herd immunity threshold being hit...I’m thinking at least 2 years for this hobby.

Im not sure how many small businesses and bar/restaurants will have the financial wherewithal to come back after a 2-3 month closure.

Hopefully we don’t experience food supply disruptions.

We’re definitely hitting the reset button here
I think most small
Businesses will take all he govt handouts they can get, SBA loans 36 months unemployment and then pack it in never reopen

Three will be new places it’s nyc but it there is a second wave ir a different pandemic story too will close - probably need to have pandemic clauses n the leases commercial and residential with terms spelled out .

The problem in NYC is that nobody takes this lockdown seriously. On Friday, people were jogging and enjoying the weather in central park when the NYPD tell the people there to disperse. Morever, not everybody are wearing facemasks. In Hong Kong, many people remember the SARS outbreak and they take the proper precautions seriously. My guess is that the warm weather in July will make COVID less deadly.

By mid-May we'll see around 50% of businesses opened up again. By the Independence Day the city will be restored to a 100% capacity. Might be even sooner

China just recently banned all foreigners from coming into their country. I know talk about irony. In the aftermath of this whole drama most countries will have stricter immigration policies especially related to China.

I have to keep repeating this to you guys. Things will never go back to “normal” or be the same. The mistake many girls will realize is they should have been more catering to clients and gave out their numbers or Wechat or whatever. In the aftermath of all this these amps will be shut down across the country and they will start to be deported in high numbers that you normally would see the Hispanics

That’s it the amp game is over especially in places like New York. The fact you guys think things will go back to normal is insane. ICE and public health officials will be banging on their doors weekly. And when the grannies are dumb enough to come outside next week when the quarantine ends they will be arrested on the spot.

In addition to that there will be more snitching than before because if people see the same hoes out on Roosevelt soliciting, they will be pissed off at them and take their anger with China out on them.

Please guys think with your big hear and not the small one . Amps are gone. Might as well rename this website chicaspotreviews.net in the aftermath
Nahhhhhhh

It will be back to normal when all americans can get a vaccine. They might get approval in June 2021 for a vaccine, but then they have to make 350 million doses. I'm not sure how fast can they do it?

I saw a DW doc on youtube how China was able to beat the virus with curfews and limiting the number of people allowed outside. I thought it was quite extreme, but maybe we should do the same. That's the only way to fight this thing. I can't wait for it to be over. I'm having the itch to monger but I know I can't. I can't even see a civvie cause most bars are closed and even if they weren't, I'm afraid she could have it too. This is a horrible way to start the year.

They also shut people home door with metal bars, wood, piles of dirt and etc. They put stickers on peoples doors. If the sticker broke, they would know that you went out of your house. Shit wouldn't work here. There are tons of homeless out on the streets now hanging together.

Shutdown for more than 2 months is a huge, colossal blunder. The virus will have a gigantic second wave in December if this is the case. We should let it spread quickly.

It has no bearing on when things will be back to some sort of "normal", however we may choose to define that, but just as an interesting point of reference: exactly 31 days ago, the president of the United States was still calling coronavirus "a hoax".

You should watch this youtube video of how China is taking coronavirus seriously. You could go to any country without symptoms but it takes 2-14 days till you get any symptoms at all.
