Best way to see the line-up

I apologize in advance if this is a rookie question. Im new to the hobby and kind of reserved. What’s the best way to ask to see whose available. So far my experience has been getting whisked to a room and not given any options. Is it rude to ask whose available or is it better to call ahead and ask? I appreciate any guidance from the crafty veterans.

Just ask. Better yet, if you have a burner phone, call ahead and request it for when you arrive.
Or, if you know who you want, request them. There may be times when you ask, but don't get, a line up. They'll say "too busy". But if you really want to see it and the girl they offer isn't to your liking, just leave.

If you walk in and they next one up is not to your liking, ask for someone else. A few years ago at BCT I had a horrible experience with a provider. Next time there, she was the next one up. I asked Mandy for someone else.

Ask when you're calling for an appointment. Or else ask as soon as you walk in the door. If they start rushing you to a room, just stop and say something like "I'd like to see who is working today". As others have said, if they say no, turn around and walk out.
