I see both the spa at 77th & 164th and Vitality at Union & 164th are closed. Note that recently elected Queens DA Melinda Katz is big on shutting these places and prosecuting the johns. Her opponent in that race-Caban- was talking neo-decriminalization but lost. Both of these joints are in the 107th Pct which has been pretty sleepy. Now armed with the covid-19 panic, I would expect Katz to pressure Queens NYPD to close more places for fear about "public health" along with her fantasy that all providers are victims of trafficking. Mongers know different.
Having survived being in a bust years ago in Manhattan, I can say it's not a good experience for the faint of heart.
Be discerning and judicious.

No question Kat & the Queens Democratic machine decided it was Katz. They are still pissed that AOC beat Crowley whose relative is now running for BP, Katz’ old job. Anyhow, be judicious or end up in front of a judge in Queens for now. Interesting to see if the 111th Pct wakes up. If so, Bayside and Little Neck will be less fun for us.

There was a marked police van parked the wrong way outside of the meat market on 88th and Roosy. Not taking guys in but definitely sending a message. I've noticed two other places along the same strip that are now closed as well. There does seem to be a soft crackdown going on.

There was a marked police van parked the wrong way outside of the meat market on 88th and Roosy. Not taking guys in but definitely sending a message. I've noticed two other places along the same strip that are now closed as well. There does seem to be a soft crackdown going on.

Imagine the scenario...Locked in the house under containment with SO and screaming kids home from school for a month and no possibility of seeing a provider in the next 30 days. You make it out on your once every 3 days allotment and arrive at Main St and Coronavirus Ave only to find a ghost town and many of your favorite establishments now have several GREEN stickers up by the Health Department. "CLOSED BY ORDER OF CDC DUE TO IMPROPER SANITIZATION STANDARDS"

Ny Health Department will take over the responsibility of being the killjoy soon enough...

Green stickers just requires some corrections, and they can re-open. Better than Orange stickers.
