Attempted extortion after calling up some places

After calling and texting a bunch of places I received a harassing message. I'm posting what was said because it can be humorous or frightening depending on the recipient. My response to this message asking for the mailing address to send the money and have not heard back. I never made an appointment with anyone and I don't know which ad is responsible for this. I do know I did not call or text the number that sent this . Here it is, enjoy.
my name is PABLO OSEGUERA member carte Jalisco New Generation and pimp of the domestic sexual service house I’ve been calling you cause you’ve been speaking to one of my girls which offered you her service and you only made her lose her time. I’ve implanted you a fee which you must pay. If you don’t pay you and a couple of your family member will lose their life. Don’t try to block me or turn off the phone because I have your address and your family’s too. Call me to work something out in a good manner..........Look, the best thing you can do at this precise moment is to reach an agreement with me right now and with my boss so that something worse does not happen with you and your family, you know what I am talking about and do not waste my time if you pay the fine for everything. Saltra well the fine is 3000 for the love of your family tell me if you are going to cooperate for the good, yes or no, you will see what will happen with your family for wanting to play with the poster if you do not do what I say something very serious happens I happened before, better cooperate so as not to make a bloodshed....

I’ve gotten that along with the gory pics I usually tell them to fuck off and come to my address (I use a burner # for mongering so don’t they can’t really track me unless they are nsa) also have said that I’ve fwd the message to the cops with their number and am awaiting further instructions They usually never respond back either way. But I see how it could be a bit alarming depending your circumstance and if they are reaching out to your real number.

Like I said I called a bunch of numbers and this (347) 318-8726 isn't one of them. This is the number that sent the message. It could have been from any of the numbers I've called that day. I doubt they used a number on the ad but here you go.

how can u not remember? even on days where i have a hard time setting something up i wont call more then maybe 5, and as i go down the list i can remember what i call.

like i said, this information becomes very valuable if u have the number/ad that ur calling or at bare minimum the type of places your calling.

Had it happen too and it listed my real full name and address so that scared the shit out of me when I first saw it. Been a year since I got it and I'm still breathing, it's bullshit just ignore and block.

quite scary as I just got done watching a lot of those guys' executions, absolutely horrific.
but if you're keeping yourself safe with burners and other apps to hide your ass i think you should be fine unless you went and let them look at your ID or told the lady personal info. Its odd to me that extortion attempts like this ask for such huge amounts of money like 3k when the going rate is like 1.2 lol

A similar thing happened to an acquaintance who went to DR for a short vacation. He called up inquiring for companionship. When he didn’t go thru with it, they badgered him repeatedly w phone calls. The calls continued when he arrived back to NY. The interesting thing is they tried to blackmail and threaten him by revealing they know his personal details like family, occupation, address etc. As you know, this info can be easily obtained by one of many subscription services. The calls eventually stopped after a few days.

had the same thing a few times. talked to one guy once. told him to be a man and show up at my door and face me. told him to f off or show up and kill me. never showed up. he said he had my address

I've gotten these messages too. Same name too... Pablo, I also use a burner number but I'm curious which ads are triggering them. I mean usually the ones that seem to good to be true and with strange area codes is a good place to start.
I've engaged in some convo, even said "Hey I'm not scared of you but would love to join your team" or "Hey come fight me in Sunset Park, puto" lol. They try to get tough and threaten a family member or some mess but eventually they give up.
time is money for these assholes.

You'd be surprised man... I had a friend who suffered from depression. Some scam like this got him wiped out his entire 401k. I mean he was stupid for buying into this garbage but they kept asking/demanding for more and more money till he was wiped out.
My friend took his life a few years ago. He always had mental health issues but I think this pushed him over the top.

Edit: It was some woman from overseas that said she'd come visit him if he paid her way, then after one payment it was "oh my boss wants more money", "oh my flight was canceled" "oh, my kid is sick" and he just kept on giving... It was clearly some kind of organized stunt. smh R.I.P. old pal
