I’ve actually been very successful at Mitsuwa in Edgewater. Come either on a Sat or Sun and it’s packed with young asians. It’s so easy to talk to them....just strike up a conversation about how to cook something and you can have their ear for hours. I’ve had 4 encounters here so far which has led to many enjoyable experiences

Some alternatives to AMPs:

1. A couple of times I've gone to KIng Spa in Palisades Park, NJ followed by a recon trip down Rt 1 to the H&Y Market in PP. I've had some nibbles at both places, but never closed the deal. Still, if you are in the area, I think there is potential. Plus, not a bad way to spend the day. The only downside to this approach is that a middle-aged White guy by himself usually stands out like a sore thumb at an Asian market (and at King Spa too). I've gotten lots of WTF looks and pretty sure many people (correctly) think I am there to pick up Asian women.
2. Nail spas. Its a lot more work than an AMP, but it is possible to get girls at Nail Spas. The rules are different and an AMP and you've got to be a lot more subtle. But Nail Spas are also much cheaper. Typical $40 for pedicure w/foot massage (and sometimes shoulder massage too) and tip. Just like an AMP, the key is to charm them into giving you their WeChat contact info.

Back in the 80s I had this close friend from high school. Good looking guy who got this job selling copy machines and printer supplies in New York City. Every day, he'd "cold call" on businesses.
