@ tuddles:
Your comment about the Asian doctors keeping info from their patients. Is true. Their job is to keep them healthy and working. I found out the hard way. I was in a relationship with a provider for 5 months, she lived with me, and I took her to work and back. She did the requisite trip to Flushing each month to restock supplies and attend to any immediate medical conditions. In throwing out the trash, I found a bottle of medicine that is prescribed for Hepatitis B. Upon her return I confronted her and she said the doctor said to take it for "stomach problems". Fortunately, my primary, who knows my activities, had me get the 3 shot Hep B vaccine which I had completed the month prior to meeting this provider who ended up with me for 5 months. She was in search of a green card. I was tested for Hep B again and although I was OK, my primary gave me a booster JIC. Our relationship didn't last long after that. They get treated quite often for many things related to their profession, such as cystitis, UTI, and many for a variety of "stomach problems". So your comment was accurate, in my experience !!!
