That Pete Davidson guy was so interesting. I think Ariana Grande had a thing for "losers" or "weird" guys. Whatever you want to call it. During that time Ariana Grande was on the top of career. Whatever she touched turned to gold.

i.e. there was so much attention given to him because he was the boyfriend of a world famous pop star.

Once they broke up he still had some of Ariana's gold dust. Kim Kardashian being the attention whore realize dating Pete would create more attention for her. Once the spotlight was coming to an end for Pete she broke off the relationship.

Ariana Grande in the mid 2010s was very influential. She was the first petite female to dress in baggy clothes. After which k-pop, I think, would steal her style.
