Was followed out of parking lot of a local location (not FS, HJ only) by a cop for about 5 mins, wasn’t pulled over at all, and they eventually turned and went elsewhere. Am I being way too paranoid to think they could have taken my plate info and will be sending me something in the mail? This ever happened to anyone here?

Where did you go? Just so I don’t go there. Lol. I would be paranoid as well I guess but most likely maybe you or the vehicle fit a description of something they are looking for.
Or maybe he saw you come out and was just trying to scare you somehow and make you paranoid on purpose. If they had evidence they would have pulled you over and dealt with it.

It very well could have been you were on guard, and may have been watching closer.
Course if you were really paranoid, don't drive a normal root. Pull into a neighborhood and drive around it. Also, doubt they'd need to follow you for plates info that long.
Happened to me once a long time ago. Two guys in an unmarked car. They even followed me through a large parking lot, then for a long time down Iliff. What was disturbing is the spa I was at, was closed down a couple weeks later. My theory is they were looking for a reason to pull me over, probably to see if i would give up details. My guess is they might be investigating the spa. They usually don't get involved unless the surrounding businesses are complaining. Remember it is perfectly legal to get a massage. They have no way of knowing what really happened.

I've been followed a few times. A lawyer I used to drink with used to tell me "if you break a law, don't break more laws". They can't pull you over without cause, so don't give them cause. So now every time I leave a place, I take a meandering route, usually stopping at a store or gas station, taking much longer than needed to get to where I actually want to go.

Just remember you are being video taped everywhere you go, I often park away from the establishment especially if there is no stealth like parking directly in front or behind the location. There is no perfect advise. Being followed by a cop is unlikely to amount to anything, unless you are doing something wrong or your vehicle has a defect. As always be careful, be mindful, you can only look out for yourself.
I’d say they might be casing the area for a bust, I’d prob keep a close watch but avoid partaking.

Anyways we met up in timesq somewhere open and easy to blend in, I noticed there was a cop car literally across the street and i stared at it for a good long second. The guy shows up , clean cut light skinned Hispanic stocky guy with glasses def could tell he lifts, and a young Asian looking girl comes up to us says something they laugh and she walks away. I asked who was that? He replies ‘….it was a hooker’
Anyways I give the guy $40 for the cialis then he’s like hey if you like it, I can get you more, some of my customers come back and buy 40-60 boxes from me, I’m like oh ok.
In hindsight I’m certain that was a cop and she was his partner. And they were trying to reel me in for a bigger bust if I bought over certain $$$ amount I coulda been locked up for a while I think. Besides the cialis was fake as fuck. I went to my doc a few weeks later and got the real shit and I was blown away, solid rock hard 1-2 hr boners and staying hard after a nut. It was the best experience. Nowadays even with double dose I go limp immediately after.

Ok you are right about them doing it anyways but I meant legally they aren't supposed to. And if they pull you over without cause, a good lawyer can get anything that stems from that thrown out. I'm a firm believer in ACAB so I absolutely believe in cops harassing someone to the point of them losing their license for small things like that.
