Just tell your doctor the little white lies that get you the little blue pills (though I prefer the little yellow ones for myself - tadalafil).
Doctors are pretty skittish about probing you for lurid details of your sex life, so keep it simple like
"I still get morning wood, sometimes, but lately I can't always keep it up long enough/hard enough to reliably satisfy my woman."
Doc won't need much more than that statement to prescribe.
