I haven't kept up with this story but it's possible he's been undergoing treatment for a while but feel obligated to go public now that it's reached stage 4.

One of my associates was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last Spring ........he did undergo treatment and seems to be doing well so far!

He is 78 years old after all. He's already been through a heart attack some years ago. He does look great for his age though.
