Well, finally made the big move and living down south now.

Have to start meeting some of the southern belles soon. If they are okay with this Yankee, I have cash to spend.

All of the "it takes a village" people in New Jersey will have to find someone else to cough up that free daycare and college for their kids.

Good to be here.

Not that it matters, but where in the south did you move?

Moved from NJ in the 80's. One of the happiest days of my life. Unfortunately to CA. Two states I will never ever live in again. EVER! Absolutely no regrets about NJ. CA is a shame. Beautiful weather and scenery. But don't miss the people, mentality and the cost....

Good for you! You didn't say where you are but hopefully there's lots of pretty girls and good golf courses in your future.
I am in North Carolina.

One day here and I've already repressed memory of the high taxes and shitty roads of where I was.

Just don’t try to fuck it up. Hear many saying; “well in NJ we did it this way”, “in NJ we had...”, “people in NC are slow and don’t speak intelligently”. Please, Please, Please..... leave all that in NJ.
There is not any way on God's green earth would I "export" anything about New Jersey to anywhere else.

That circus up north can stay up north.

I found the good life. And I'll check in periodically with my old neighbors as they keep approving higher property taxes to pay for those schools up there.

Hasta Levista, Knucklehead Murphy and the NJEA.

It is the land of fruit and nuts, and that is not describing the produce from that state.

Good luck. It is true they move slower in the south so HE won't be rushed and a one hour session could take last hours.
