9 VIP Closing

I read on another site that 9 VIP is going to close for next few weeks. Someone said 3 weeks or possibly until January. I haven't been there in a while but just passing along what I read.

I just walked by there last night. The door was closed. I wondered why, but now it makes sense.

I had been going there on a semi-regular basis back in August/early September and the mamasan kept complaining how slow business was. She is a nice old lady, and I really like her but think the combination of the really strict Covid protocol, combined with the fact that for a lot of guys its harder to get out of the house and visit the spa when "working" from home accounted for the slow-down in business. They probably looked at it and just decided it wasn't worth it in this current environment. I am sure they will be back at some point.

Also the reviews have been lacklaster since reopening. I rely on other mongers input on 9VIP.

Drove by there and sign outside door said closed due to covid

It might be a wise decision to close voluntarily ahead of time and weather it out than to wait and get unwanted/un-needed attention.

This is disappointing but not surprising. I'd been meaning to get to one of the places in Philadelphia (no longer have other reasons to go to Philadelphia with everything still shut down), so I wondered if this would happen when Wolf issued more closures and restrictions.

Good to hear. I was drove by the other night and they were still closed. Hopefully they get some decent talent working again.
