Completely off topic but how exactly do you objectively say you have “been to the best doctors”? Keep in mind the modern industrial health complex is all about keeping you coming back for more follow ups and procedures and billing insurance. I wouldn’t completely knock her advice.

I've had a check-up with the top ranked spine surgeons at HSS, Mayo Clinic, Presbyterian and Mt Sinai spaced over multiple years. Plus an additional consultation with a top spine surgeon in Turkey to get an 'outside opinion'. They all told me to learn to live with my scoliosis not come back to see them even though doing so would make them a lot of money. And plus I've spent hundreds of hours researching this topic on my own. I had a car accident as a kid that broke my spine.
