You used to be able to pay your way into p411 but now you have to have references, which can be near impossible when you're starting out as most Indies won't see you without references. They also want work references which is a little extra imo, and also a barrier if you don't have an office or something like that they can call to verify you.
Eros is good with fairly accurate pics and more importantly personal websites of workers, who may be more lenient with references and verification.
Switter I haven't used much at all, but it's been pretty good at finding local providers, so long as you can navigate it, which can take some getting used to
BestGFE is also full of nice providers, have often seen people going there to set up meetings with women who will then become a reference for future appointments elsewhere.

p411 has been very helpful but I believe they stopped taking new members right after FOSTA. Eros can be good but many of the ladies are high-end since it charges ladies a lot to advertise. Privatedelights.ch is also pretty good; they are allowing reviews where you can get an idea of what services are available but you aren't going to find very detailed reviews there. And I use TNAboard and BestGFE, too. If you look at these sites, you can be confident all of the girls are real providers, but they may be out of your price range.
cityxguide.com and adultlook.com are useful too but that's where you find a lot of the fakes -- schemes that are trying to get your email address to send you malware. But I have seen plenty of well-reviewed ladies (and ladies I've seen) advertise on both. Sometimes I see a new ad and then I'll read a review or a mention on a site like this, so I know they're legit.
It just takes time. When I could search TER, the indy experience was much easier. But even then, you had to search a bunch of sites to find the new ones. Since FOSTA I am seeing more ladies from the past but I am still able to find new ones.
