Rent-a-Girlfriend in Japan. Do you think it would work here?

I recently saw a youtube video on this experience and it intrigued me. Basically, in Japan, you can rent a GF for $40/hr and up. It's all very legit and there are a lot of rules. And I can see that there might be times when one can be useful, such as at social events where one wants a date. And maybe for those of us who are lonely or don't do much at AMPs beside light fondling because of SO issues, it might be a way to have a bit of a distraction without doing anything too serious. What do you guys think? Is there anything remotely like this here? SA is way too committed and expensive and a waste of time.

I’ve heard about this service too.

In a country like Japan where many men work all day and have no social life, it’s a nice getaway from their reality and just talk and have a legit date (nothing sexual) with a cute and nice girl.

$40 an hour is not cheap in Japan where the average monthly salary is around 4K USD.

SA is straightforward in Japan. Met two last January in Tokyo. Speaking Japanese helps a lot.

I don’t see this concept working in America.

I actually did it in Shanghai once about 15 years ago. It was available there. I was at an internal company event there and everyone else had a spouse or significant other. I’m not married, not attached. I got a lot of crap the first night, so I got a girl as a rental GF the next. Everyone was amused and curious, the girl was great fun, but very professional. I can’t see this working in USA though. The housefraus go nuts with any potential threat to their well ordered worlds here. So they’d view her as a whore, and if you’re a guy, if you’re going to be treated like you slept with a girl for money, you might as well just do it.

In USA when I have need for a girl for corporate events, I mostly use neighbors wives who are happy to get a free dinner or whatnot. But I did take a spa girl to a golf event at a really nice course once. I absolutely had to have a girl there, it was a competition requirement. She held up her end of the golfing, but I unfortunately sucked.

Consider testing the waters on Fiverr. You can create a job posting, and even target certain freelancer profiles (e.g., actors, models) - this could work well if you need a +1 for a social event.

However, if you’re simply looking for a cheaper way to kiss or fondle a gal (compared to what you’ll pay on SA or an AAMP/ AMP), then maybe send a request into the ether of Craigslist :rolleyes:

Golf events are always a competition (especially among the Koreans). It begins with the type of car that you drive, the type of clubs that you use, how young and pretty the girl is, etc. it never ends.

My main goal at a golf event is to network with potential clients so I will let them win, let them brag, and make sure they have a blast and then invite them to dinner and then to a room salon for drinks and entertainment. lol

You just reminded me of all the things I dislike about the keeping up with the Joneses aspect of Korean society with the incessant competition about everything...very exhausting.

It doesn't get weird or awkward taking a neighbor's wife to a social event? It's very mature and sophisticated if everybody's respectful and toeing the lines, but I can imagine after a few drinks too many, if there's dancing involved, slowly but gradually increasing the caresses, closer body contact, feeling the heat off each other, brushing of breasts and erect penises off each other...it's gonna be trouble for me.

I think you don’t live in my neighborhood. I don’t harbor any sexual desires for the self-absorbed chubby women here. Most of these events are charity fundraisers. So while there can be dancing, I behave myself, I don’t play favorites amongst the spouses, and I am not a catch. The worst thing that happens is guys complaining about their wives coming home whining about why they don’t get invited out by them more often, or quarrels over something the wife bought at a silent auction. The girls I see at the spas are vastly more interesting to me.

In my experience, in both Tokyo and Seoul, the girls are more reasonable and have a much better attitude than the ones in NYC.

The average monthly salary in Tokyo and Seoul is only around $4K USD so giving them $300 USD plus dinner and drinks is a win-win for both them and us. (y)

When I played golf in Korea last February. There were three girls who changed their outfit twice and took pics to make it look like they played golf on three different days. lol

If your estimate of the monthly salary there is about $4K USD, what is your estimate of the salary here, just for comparison purposes?

For SBs in NYC, I give them $500 plus dinner and drinks. As for the estimate for NYC, it’s hard to say. People I have met who are active in SA in NYC make at least $500K/year and people who I have met who are active in SA (or other similar SB events) in Seoul make at least $250K/year USD which puts them in the top 1%.
