I’m saying I’m curious now; I’m confused where everyone comes from I’m trying to be informed. Can’t lie hearing a women talk about how she made it to America from North Korea would be interesting but the people in the thread put me on game it’s not common to have a North Korean pro. I think you have to know, most North Koreans and Yanbians are in the country illegally. It’s quite impossible for NKs to directly emigrate here and most Yanbians would struggle to get the money together initially without assistance. Consequently they are very careful to reveal their history and you need to build trust gradually. The other side of it is a combination of racism and marketing. Han Chinese consider themselves superior to everyone, as do Japanese. Yanbians and ethnic minority Chinese have been shit on by Han Chinese forever. I don’t think SK see themselves as superior to Yanbian and NK, as much as they look at them like a rich urban white guy in the USA would perceive white trailer park rural folks.
