All of my sessions are always at or near the Spa's opening time on Sunday morning only.

Reasons being:
(1)-At age 81, it is my understanding that Testosterone is at best/strongest early in the day for a guy in their senior years ~ and that has most definitely been my experience.
(2)-My odds of having my provider at her best is at the start of her day when she fresh and clean and full of energy, as opposed to later in her day when her energy has been depleted and perhaps she's feeling a bit beat up by her day, or something like that. Common sense. yes!
(3)-"Serenity vs Chaos" / TRAFFIC ~ Philly and the surrounding Counties are densely populated areas with lots of "hustle and bustle energy" in play most all the time - except for during the "overnight" ... and the consistent quiet of Sunday mornings.
My Spa visits are precious to me! They are at the top of my many top "Reasons to Live" and I want them to always be valued as such and supportive in driving my priceless Inner Peace and Serenity! Fighting traffic is not my concept of Inner Peace and Serenity, no!
My Sunday AMP Spa days always start with a nice long hot soak in the tub, smokin a bowl and listenin to the excellent (commercial free) Jazz music on 90.! FM / WRTI broadcasts every Sunday from 6 AM to 1 PM. ("Spirit-Soul" music is broadcast from 6 AM to 9 AM by Bobbi Booker every Sunday morning - always a High Vibe catalyst and an amazing musical-arts treat for me her show is.)
Following the soak is a cleansing shower, a healthy breakfast and a wonderful peaceful drive to my "Asian flavor of the day" with almost zero traffic!
For example, when departing my home adjacent to Chestnut Hill, traveling up Germantown Pike to Collegeville (Liinda @ MQ) ~~ having no traffic to deal with and cruzing thru the countryside with that delicious music on the radio and the nice sweet weed buzz happenin ~~ I am well on my way to creating the start of what normally turns out to be a most Blissful Day!
I never go into the city but I frequently go to towns like Lansdale, Royersford and etc for our hobby and it is always the same - Easy Peaceful Stress-Free Driving on Sunday morning round 9 AM, yes! ~ and that works better-than-good for me!

In closing, our Providers tell me that they really appreciate the early Sunday morning clients cause they normally do not have customers early Sundays.
(4)-Sunday mornings helps make for a more productive day for our girls on a financial basis - - - so we can call that number four (4) reason for Sunday morning . . . if you're in a position to pull it off.
I am.
Lucky me!

Thank you!

Man, IF I make 81, I hope I'm still enjoying cannabis and Asian women. Congratulations.

I know I am a very lucky man, big time, at 81 and still be rockin!

Much, but not all, of my well-being comes from staying very active, especially with a focus on Cardio fitness (I'm a marathon runner).
If I had a sedentary lifestyle I probably would not be alive today!
Our Federal CDC (Centers for Disease Control) specifies a minimum ~ repeat, MINIMUM ~ of 150 minutes of Cardio Workout per week, or five thirty (30) minute sessions per week. Minimum!
Daily movement, and lots of it, is critically important!
Two thirds of us Americans are overweight! Fact!
Not good!

When I was 40 years old I weighed 300 pounds and my Primary Doc told me I would have a stroke before I was 50!
That was my "wake up call!"

The rest is history!

Good things come to those that sweat!

Thank you!

So my Sundays are almost the same as our pal @WyndmoorDude, everything you say is 100% a perfect setup for an awesome Sunday! The no one is around traffic thing makes it a billion times better too.

I can vote then for early morning, which I have this in rotation. Girls are fresh with energy, haven't been shit on yet, and I haven't gotten so stoned I can't drive.

But for most shops, I always go at or near or after closing. Couple reasons. Most shops are quiet then, is unlikely to get walkins or phone calls. That is maybe the prime thing for me, even the best session I can imagine is completely destroyed by interruptions and usually means the last time I go to that shop. Also if there is any YMMV points to be cashed in, end of the day is the time. Is like when your boss asks you to stay two hours OT, of course you're tired and just want to go home, but you know every minute you stay is free cash money you hadn't planned on. Girls' libidos seem wilder then too. Maybe best reason is that you have a pretty good chance of catching the whole gang on a day when business wasn't that great, and they know you're a good tipper and dude that doesn't smell or gonna rope them, so they will throw themselves at you with totally unexpected off-menu items or other things. AND DINNER! I cannot count on all my hands the number of times I walk in at closing time to a shop in the rotation and they are cooking dinner, and just one single compliment opens up a whole couple hours of DATYO and dinner, in randomized order.

Also I like for shops close to home that I can almost doze off during the massage, and then drive home quickly, enjoy the reflexive period in my gun room in the beanbag chair with some Dead or Megadeth blasting, bong in hand, and let all the body chemicals send me off to awesomeland. What a way to get brain and body in sync for the next day! Is why Thursday is my best mongering night, I get a massifs recharge for a super powerful Friday to end the week!

Sounds like a great plan.I'm 60 and lost my lifelong excess weight. I eat healthier and walk first in the morning 4 miles 7 days a week. Lift heavy weights 3 days aweek and am on my feet most of the day. My father died at 88 being overweight with high blood pressure so with all I'm doing i plan on making it to 90.

I’m hitting 40 this year and this thread has honestly filled me with hope. I recently had a health treatment go wrong and the idea of mongering into my 50s let alone 80s seamed impossible. Thanks for sharing, everyone. I needed to hear these stories today.

88 is a good life.
I think its probably a common goal for us to want to at least beat our Dads life span. Not sure why. Just seems common

Now that this thread has turned into an Aarp meeting I’ll try and get it back on track.

Regarding early morning. Like any person, these girls want to ease into work. The way I think, you’re not getting their best first of the day.

I also take the girls eating habits in mind. You shouldn’t swim right after you eat and once again, these girls probably are not at their best after eating with their bloated little bellies and not to mention, that breath.

I’m a late morning, late afternoon, late evening guy. Also generally a little slower during these times. You’ll get your best session if the girl hasn’t seen anyone for an hour and doesn’t have an appointment right after you.

As far as my first comment, just kidding. Much respect if you can still enjoy this hobby after 65.

About the enjoyment to be had with this hobby-activity as an older senior … for me, it’s directly related to my physical conditioning and fitness and thus the importance of my cardio workouts can not be overstated!
Ask any marathon runner what is the most difficult thing to do and you will usually hear “lacing up the sneakers” … as in Getting Started!

I use the thought of having yet another session with my Asian flavor-of-the-day to motivate me to Get Started with my next cardio … and to keep up that most important self discipline when I sometimes feel like not continuing to completion with that cardio, and that thought process motivation works for me every time!

Good Things Come To Those That Sweat

Thank you!
