I just had this same discussion with a provider I'm currently seeing.
She has been working in several states recently and currently just landed in Westchester County, NY. This is an affluent area and the rates at this shop are similar to Philly and she's saying business at that shop is slow.
Her friends in the biz across the country are experiencing the same.

Thank you. All I know is I'm paying more for just about everything possible in the history of my entire lifetime: food prices, gas, Healthcare costs etc...etc... My paltry raises nowhere near instep with current inflation. Current Administration (Biden) seeking more money for its base constituency (expanding child tax credit/free hand outs for minorities) sending more money to the Ukraine than dealing with the middle class who continually bear the brunt and carry the burden while those at the bottom and top benefit.

His opinions happen to be dead on balls accurate. There is nothing uneducated about the fact everything has gotten more expensive under Biden, including mongering. Maybe this particular place may not fall directly under that category since you said its always been expensive, but accorss the board in both NJ and NY, ever since the Biden administration took over, mongering has definitely gotten more expensive.
