Hey all, to keep myself and others safe I want to go testing once a couple of months. Where can I get tested, how much is it usually? And how can I tell
If I actually have something? Recently I have been feeling very minor burning on the tip of jr sometimes and it has me thinking if I actually got something. I stopped mongering for this reason, but I would like to get tested and be back on the field. I would appreciate any type of input in this topic.

This has been discussed a bunch recently, especially on the New Jersey boards. You can go to your doctor or to a walk-in and they can get tests prescribed for you so your insurance covers it if it’s on your policy. Or you can do what I have done which is purchase a panel from quest and go to one of their facilities and pay out-of-pocket. I’ve done this panel three times And added herpes panel on ones as well.https://www.questhealth.com/product/std-screening-panel-expanded-37328M.html. There are a few others out there that fellow mongers have shared that are a bit cheaper.

lol. It is a lot of money however, I feel that if I can afford to play, I should be able to afford to check myself. And with the convenience of there being 1 million quest test facilities in the state of New Jersey alone and getting the test results usually within 24 hours on all of them it’s worth a little bit of money.

Some says bbbj is safe for std/sti but it's bullshit. 10 years ago I got back to back bbbj from two young chinese chicks. Spent almost 2 hours and honestly really had good time. I don't know who gave it to me but I had to see a doctor exactly a week later.

What about no teeth

Since bbbj is so standard, we should be able to see their mouth for leftover jizz or the random tonsil stones that dislodge.

The STD is not in their teeth its in their saliva, all gonorrhea, and other diseases you can get from a bbbj live there, likewise herpes HSV-1 lives either on the skin or traces can be found in the saliva as well.

Can get testing done at one of the many Urgent Care spots that have popped up over the past few years. They accept insurance and take walkins. Results in about 2-3 days. I shudder at the days when we had to make an appt at a doctor and play the waiting game.

Letsgetchecked it's a convenient home test. It's about $90 for the 5 major stds, you just take your sample send it in and they email you the results.

I just used this service recently. The great thing about it is that you can pay for the test online ($140), it covers 10 STIs, and you can remain anonymous if you want. You can schedule your blood and urine test at LabCorp or Quest, your choice. Also, the test results come back pretty quickly. Some test results showed up in 1 day, while the rest were 2-3 days. My test results came back clear, but I believe if you need a Dr consultation, they can do that based on the results of your test and potentially write a prescription for you as necessary. I don't know how the anonymity works if you need a Rx though. I'm assuming you may need to identify yourself to get meds at the pharmacy.

And yes, BBBJ can possibly lead to STI. Maybe the chances of catching HIV are relatively slim, but other STIs are definitely on the table with BBBJ. We all take some degree of risk in the hobby. I'm not dissuading anyone from their risk tolerance, but at the very minimum, be educated regarding what the risks actually are.

Any older guys experiencing urinary symptoms should go straight to urgent care or their GP and get tested and have presumptive treatment. The longer you wait for treatment the greater your chances for prostatitis to occur and then you’ll need weeks of treatment. It’s a very unpleasant experience.
