Democrats, which includes Governor Hochul are responsible for this, who themselves should be deported. There is a good reason why the southern border wall was built in the first place. Deport the left-wings, and ultra-liberal Democrats first. Once this is done we can take care of this problem.

Here's a theory
Add to the population in certain area & an added Congressional seat is needed. If that seat is in a certain area, that party gets more control. It wasn't by accident that Somali "refugees" were sent to Minnesota & thus we have Omar as the Rep from there. How's that worked out for us???

Wow, that’s interesting. This is how AOC was selected into Office. She represents queens. One of the most diverse areas in a country with plenty of immigrant Hispanics. Some of these voters could care less about liberal conservative, or moderate. They care about what they see and want to elect someone who represents them. That’s reality.

Agree completely... soon after the influx the re-districting starts and dilutes the impact of a historically strong conservative voting base in the targeted areas. What follows after the elections? An exodus of high income New Yorkers to more tax friendly states such as Florida and Texas. The loss of tax revenue at the state and city levels results in higher taxes for the middle class. Time to leave if you can.

Populations only gets checked every 10 years with a census. Even then, there's no guarantee of redistricting. Redistricting actually happens more often because of Gerrymandering to achieve political gains. Plenty of factors could change when any immigration group increase any given location. Like people move away. Plus, even if the immigrants become citizens to vote, they may not affect historical outcomes. Case in point, Eastern TX and Louisiana. Lots of Vietnamese settled there from the 70's. Area is still heavily GOP.

If anyone is to blame for the sudden increase of Central/South American population in NYC, than a lot should go to TX Gov Abbott with all those free bus rides.

Typical DC political games, for every problem we need either a tax increase/cut or a amnesty bill, this whole bill is just to gaslight us Biden can shut the border today no need for any new legislation

Oh, and NYC sanctuary laws + plus the manhattan scum DA is inviting this all but you know “orange man bad” so we need to keep voting for this trash

I have many Muslim friends from Africa and they are awesome , hardworking honest people. They keep their family together and raise their kids in the Muslim tradition which is respect for your elders and others. You would be lucky to have a friend from Somalia, you might actually learn something about the world other than the dribble that Americans consume and repeat to each other.

Well Biden has the border wide open and Texas doesn’t need to take care of his lawlessness

2. NYC enacted sanctuary laws so don’t blame Texas, but you’ll keep voting for progressive shitlibs so this is what we deserve

TX has y default. Borders are defined by territory. Borders aren't wide open. If it was, TX wouldn't have survived. Asylum is too easy to seek.

And you know how I voted, how? For the record, I'm a registered GOP. NYC may have Sanctuary Laws, but so have plenty of other cities. Abbott should spread the load besides NYC and Chicago. I'm not happy about my tax dollars being used to house them.

It's a free option. The others requires Congress to release funds. And any Executive Order issued that makes him look good will just be pounced on by those that still follow the previous President. Exactly like what they are doing now with the Border Bill.

Thats not how it works. The guard is currently on "state" orders issued by the respective governors. Troops get paid for time served but the time does not count towards retirement calculations. Federal orders come from a different pot of money, affect retirement, are much more expensive and are more stringent in regards to duty, time frame, travel etc...

We have such beautiful pink haired TikTokers here in nyc that their hearts bleeds for Hamas casualties so we need to vote in more progressive shitlibs

I hoped that Tx exploiting NYC sanctuary laws and bussing in 1000’s of migrants will wake them up but nah they have other priorities than to save this country
