Seeing someone else walk in a spa

Ever have it where you are literally headed for the door of a spa and another monger walks in just ahead of you?

What do you do? Proceed in and have you both standing in the lobby, bail out? Hang back and wait 10 minutes? Does it make a difference if you have an appointment?

It seems like it might not be common but I had it happen this weekend. I bailed. It sucked. I didn’t have an appointment so I thought I might be stepping on his. If I had one, I’d think he might be stepping on mine. Of course they obviously can book more than one appointment at once. I don’t care if people are in other rooms. But just hanging out is always awkward.

In a weird way it’s also kind of a turn off. I also go for floats in salt baths and prefer not to see the people who had just been soaking in that tub prior to me. It’s kind of gross. Out of sight out of mind.

Thoughts?

I wait 10 minutes and then walk in if I see someone walk in right before me as I am about to get out of the car. If I am doing a walk-in (no appt) and nobody is available I just go somewhere else if I have the time or its off for the day. Part of the game we play in our heads. If I have an appt its a different story as I hope they are holding it for me for at least 10 minutes (I always walk in 5 minutes before the appt time) and then walk in. If they say "sorry, busy come back later" even if I had an appt it doesn't matter. Yeah it sucks, but this is what we have to deal with playing this hobby.

Yes I do the same thing waiting a few minutes in my car . The places I go to have easy parking . It is kind of interesting to see who leaves the spa sometimes . It makes me feel better when I see some guys and I think wow that guys older than me …I completely try to avoid the awkwardness of both being there at the same time .

"Ever have it where you are literally..."

Haha normally I let whoever steps in w/ me go ahead of me. This seems to score points w/ the MMS & I can hangout get fed chill in MMS office, shooting the shit go over their books & even help screen the mongos on deck. Now I get special consideration in many of our favorite spots which has led to some amazing nights out. Patience seems to be super appreciated in these situations over the long haul

I usually make my appointment the afternoon before for the opening time with a certain girl. But I always wonder if someone walks in right before me if they would actually get my appointment time and girl. It's never happened but someday it might because the girl never asks my name when they open the door.

I’ve walked in behind another guy at a FS Spa, a favorite comes to greet whoever’s there, sees me, let’s me in as he watches and is told to wait or come back. Another time at a different Spa, two Indian guys were ringing the outside buzzer, I knew the girls were inside because I had texted before arriving to make sure shop favorite wasn’t busy, as we are all standing out front she again texted me to just wait until the two other guys left, lol. I have no issue seeing or being seen at an AMP, it’s no secret why we’re there.

I say, “Hey what’s up?” to a young gentleman and “Hello, how are you?” to an older gentleman. We both fully understand why we are here. lol.

One time I went to Queen Spa in Edgewater and the gentleman who entered before me said that he will wait two hours and then sat on a chair. I told him, “You’re a very patient gentleman.” and he laughed. I left because I’m not waiting that long. lol.

I walked in right after a 60+ white guy once. He was not dressed well. I am younger guy dressed casual.

He was just sitting down in a chair as MMS saw me open the door and she asked me if I want massage. I said yes but pointed and said he here first. MMS said this way, you have appointment. I did not have an appointment but I went along with it. I had been there before but I don't know if she recognized me or I just looked attractive

They will pick favorites.

Yep. Noticed that when a shagy looking dude with gressy hair came in the back door and I walked in the front. The provider told him we're busy come back in 2 hours. She took me in right away, basically she knows I'll take a 2 hour vist. Other providers were there. They didn’t want to massage his sweat!

I’ve sat up front of a shop with the manager and girls, a guy walked in, saw me sitting amongst the women and immediately looked away as I made eye contact, what’s the big deal? We don’t know each other. I think the girls set us up with this mindset by shuffling guys in and out without letting us run into each other. I mean I’m not there to socialize with another guy, but am willing to at least talk shop for a moment.

I shower right before I leave for the AMP. I don't want to smell when I walk in the door. I consider the TS a big part of the session to get it going especially if it's a very friendly shower. Nothing worse than stale ass smell.

I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t mind bumping into other guys and casual bs. But I really don’t like what happened to me last week, where I left the spa and a guy who was walking around the lot sprints over to intercept me by my car and asks me if I just finished with Hanna. Then he had the balls to ask me what services she delivered for me.

sad story , I pull into King Spa in Ridgefield at lunchtime to see Bella . As I am getting ready to open my door to get out I see a young guy at the door ringing the bell. so I wait for him to go in. That nice guy that ran the place opens the door to let him in and he flashes his police badge. Three seconds later 2 police cars with sirens pull in the lot. I pretty much had a heart attack. Only good thing they all ran inside which gave me time to back up and pull out of lot. Thank god I had a small car as I had half a inch between me and the cop cars pulled in front of the place as you remember how small that parking lot was. Funny part was all the people from the other couple of business's looking at me pulling out and pointing. As I am leaving lot a couple more police cars are coming up Grand Ave. I was praying please don't follow me. They didn't but they did block the parking lot. I aged 10 years that day.

That is Certainly scary. But what did you do wrong? There isn’t anything illegal about parking your car. You could have told them you where having a picnic lunch that you thought it was a public park/picnic area.

Even getting caught in a spa. I'm there for a massage. I have a bad back and I like when they walk on it. How can LE do anything to you unless your on tape with money being exchanged.
