Good news is IF testing expands and covers the mild cases the death rate would plummet BUT will still be way higher than the flu. In South Korea due to mass testing the death rate is .77% which is low but still higher than the flu which is .1%

In order to compare this to normal flu..we need to have one year...then we will know if deadlier..at the rate it's going it will be...add to that no vaccine until 7 months..lethal

South Korea is best case. Early detection, early treatment. China, is currently at 7% death toll.

and China implemented Draconian measures which will never happen here...plus thier health care system better than our...Korea health care system better than ours..receipe for disaster

Hate to sound so political, as this would not have a good outcome with any President/Administration. HOWEVER, this administration along with Fox News has continually downplayed the seriousness of the situation. Having portrayed it as "contained", "the same as the Flu" or a downright "hoax". This has caused 40% or so of the population to relax their guard and not protect themselves or others from infection, making it almost impossible to keep the numbers down during a crucial part of the pandemics curve. This is NOT the Flu. It is extremely easy to catch and kills YOUNG people. We must recategorize the word "evil". It is no longer just a mad murderer. It is moreso, a group of people that abets the death of hundreds of thousand to millions of Americans. And the phrase "Anyone that wants a test can have one" will go down in history as one of the most infamous of all time.

That's my point also...this is health..not some Russian interference..or boarder problem...he has no other perspective other than financial...
