Na Na is veteran in amp industry and for her to make such decision, it has to be a reason she only knows about. She has her clientele built up over years where if she took a chance of losing loyal client over 60 bucks, knowing her, it’s likely calculated risk on her end — if it works, she’s getting 60% more for same service she’s providing and if not, she can afford to lose this client.
It has happened to me as well with a provider where she made steep increase in prices. I did not go there any more and when she called me to see why I am not coming there no more, I told her — I do not mind the increase in price but what do I get out of it? What changed? Steep increase in pricing is either significant improvement of service or greed. If they use inflation as cause, it’s simple greed.
Reality is, most ladies working at amps are not business savvy, do not have business mind and do not see larger picture economics where by raising pricing, they might be losing longer term income and loyal customers. with all due respect, if they are able to see business from that perspective, they likely would be doing something different.
Ladies can only charge as clients are willing to pay, and it’s universal rule for everything in this world and basic economics. when they notice some clients are paying well over norm, or overpaying, these are the type of clients they are after - less work, more $. the ones with clientele built up over years, can risk of losing some portion of clients to make themselves easier available for ‘overpaying’ clientele.
