as a literal list crawler myself. the best advice I can give you is to do your research. cross reference the ads with other sites. look for text patterns in similar ads...usually indicates scam/catfish.

Also any dmg less than 100hr is scam/herpes

Web search of the phone number is a good way to check a place out. If there are numerous links then at least it's an established place.

I avoid any place that is close to where I live/work and/or my car sticks out like a sore thumb (due to the parking situation). You can mitigate the former by driving a car that is pretty ubiquitous. When I first started mongering, my car was very distinctive. Not anymore. Never put bumper stickers on your car either.

I also avoid locales where I think my car might get ripped off or broken into. It would suck to have to file a police report after a spa session.

I kept wondering why I was getting funny looks until I realized that the "legalize prostitution now" and "Montana is for mongers" bumper stickers drew unwanted attention.
But somehow they look appropriate on my 1972 Coronation Red Metallic Coupe Deville.
